Race info:
The Spring Valley Academy Home & School presents our second annual Stallion 5k! This is a great way to come together to have fun while supporting our school.
The start and finish will be in the circle of Spring Valley Academy.
Registration:
Now through August 14th (includes shirt and pancake breakfast)
$35
August 15th to race day (includes pancake breakfast, shirts not guaranteed)
$40
Shirts guaranteed if registered by August 14th. Some shirts may be available on race day but aren't guaranteed. Registration fees are nonrefundable/nontransferrable.
There will not be any onsite registration. Online registration will remain open until 7:45am on race day. If you have questions about this or prefer to pay via cash/check, please send us a message at HomeandSchool@springvalleyacademy.org.
We ask that you adhere to a 20 min/mile pace, as race timing will stop at 9:20am.
Participants with strollers are welcome! *Only children in strollers do not have to pay registration fee.
Payment:
Convenient online credit card payment is available through this registration site. Please notify us via email at HomeandSchool@springvalleyacademy.org, if you plan to utilize one of the following additional options for payment (*don't forget to choose from the payment type drop down options when registering):

Shirt options:
A short sleeve shirt is included with your registration. Upgrade to a Performance Tee for only $10 extra! Shirts are available in both relaxed and fitted cuts and available in sizes youth small to 4XL. Shirt deadline is August 14th.
*Attention - SVA students – the t-shirts are approved Spiritwear for Friday.

Packet pickup:
Pre race packet pickup is Friday, August 22nd, 2pm - 4pm. You can also pick up your packet on race morning beginning at 7am at Spring Valley Academy.
Schedule:
Friday, August 22nd (Spring Valley Academy )
2pm to 4pm - Pre-race packet pick up
Race day, Sunday, August 24th, Spring Valley Academy
7:00am to 7:45am - Packet pick up and race day online registration
8am - Race starts
8am - Walkers, and those with strollers, start immediately following runners
8:30am - Pancake Breakfast opens, Spring Valley Academy Cafeteria
9:20am - Race timing stops
10:30am - Pancake Breakfast ends

Parking:
Parking is available in the front parking lot and in the rear of school. Vehicles will enter through the front and EXIT only through the back (to the right of the school) during race.
After race:
All registered participants will receive a delicious pancake breakfast. All non-registrants are welcome to join us as well for only $5. Kids three (3) and under eat free!
Recognition:
Winners will be recognized for the fastest overall male and female as well as the overall fastest male and female in age divisions 11 and under, 12-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.
Teams:
ATTENTION participants! When registering, you will be asked what teacher/grade team you would like to join by simply choosing from a drop down list. The list contains SVA teachers by their last name (Kindergarten through 5th/6th) then by grade starting at 7th - 12th.
The class team with the most participants registered will WIN a pizza party!
The class teams (one K-8th & one 9th - 12th) who raises the most sponsorship money will WIN a WEEK out of uniform (*school administration has already chosen the weeks)!

This event wouldn't be possible without the generous support of local businesses, families, and individuals. If you'd like to support our event and/or sponsor a participant, please check out sponsorship opportunities or send us your ideas! Business logos of sponsors will be added to the back of the race t-shirts. Individuals and families are encouraged to sponsor as well and their family name will be added to the back of race t-shirts – starting at the Bronze sponsorship level of $250. Cancellation Policy:
In the event of foul weather, public safety concerns, or for any other reason deemed necessary by the timing company, race organizers, public safety officials, or anyone else in charge, we reserve the right to reschedule the event date, if possible, cancel the race, or convert this to a virtual 5K race. There will be no refunds and race items will not be mailed.
Transfer Policy:
If you find that you can no longer participate in this event, transfers to another participant will be permitted through July 24th.
Refund Policy:
There will be no refunds for any reason and race items will not be mailed.
